KUCHING: Police are investigating claims that 60,000 Indonesian workers are stranded in Sarawak without valid travel and work permits, said state Police Commissioner Datuk Mohd Yusoff Jaafar.
Police are working closely with the Immigration Department and relevant authorities on the matter, he told reporters after unveiling a challenge trophy for the police badminton tournament from March 1 to 21 here.
