PUTRAJAYA: More visits are being planned to offices throughout the country this year to emphasise the need for ergonomic designs at the workplace, said Department of Occupational Safety and Health director-general Dr Johari Basri. 

He said the lack of ergonomic designs, which make the office layout suitable for employees, contributed to more backaches and muscular skeletal diseases due to the repetitive use of the computer keyboard.
