New Chinese newspaper makes debut today

PETALING JAYA: A new Chinese daily newspaper, the Oriental Daily News, makes its debut in peninsular Malaysia today. 

The 48-page broadsheet daily is the sister newspaper of the See Hua Daily News that is distributed in Sabah and Sarawak, owned by the Sarawak-based KTS Group. 

Its editor-in-chief is Puah You Lai, who held a similar position formerly in China Press

It will hit the stands with an initial print run of about 100,000 copies at RM1.20 each.
