> The K. Kumarasivam Endowment Fund (KKEF) Award is open for applications.
> Organised by the Environmental Management and Research Association of Malaysia (Ensearch), the award provides the successful applicant with an opportunity to intern at a reputable centre of environmental management excellence abroad for two weeks.
> All travel and accommodation expenses, as well as living allowances, will be covered.
> Upon return, the candidate will be required to write a report on what they have gained from the internship and share their experience.
> Award objectives: To provide learning opportunities for promising young scholars and professionals, and to introduce Malaysians to innovative environmental management ideas and practices.
> Applicants must be below 35 years old as of Dec 31; be passionate about the environment; demonstrate leadership qualities, creativity and integrity; have at least two years of experience in an environmental-related field; submit a detailed CV highlighting interests, leadership experience and accomplishments in their field of expertise; and have at least two professional referees.
