Don't Miss It: Fundraising for Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation

Date: June 20

Venue: KDSF Klang Centre, Klang, Selangor

> The Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association (MyPSA), a national organisation representing and empowering pharmacy students nationwide, is collaborating with the Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation (KDSF) Klang Centre to create a supportive, inclusive environment where pharmacy students can apply their clinical knowledge through health screenings and educational talks for parents, while engaging children in interactive activities such as morning exercises, interactive games, and a guided baking session.

> Dubbed “MyPSA x KDSF: Hearts in Harmony 2026”, the event aims to bridge the gap between future healthcare professionals and children with Down Syndrome under the theme “Together Against Loneliness.”

> The team is currently working towards a fundraising goal of RM600, which will be utilised to support the programme’s overall implementation. The funds will support various operational needs, including activity execution, participant welfare, and logistics. Additional support will further enhance the programme’s impact and benefit the KDSF Klang Centre.

> The initiative is expected to directly benefit approximately 30 parents and children with Down Syndrome from the KDSF Klang Centre.
