KL Engineering Science Fair (KLESF)


Date: Oct 27 to 29 (9am to 6pm)

Venue: Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC), Selangor

> The KLESF is back at the MIECC after going online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

> Organised by the Asean Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET), The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS), Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), the educational, interactive event is free.

> The aim of the fair is to promote interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) while providing schoolchildren an avenue to showcase their talents.

> Schools, students and the public are invited to the event, which will showcase the use of artificial intelligence, drone technology and robotics, and feature games, hands-on experiments, information technology, science and engineering projects, and displays.

> Participants at this year’s fair include schools, colleges, universities, industry players and non-governmental organisations.

> There will also be lucky draws and prizes up for grabs.

> Also taking place at the fair is the 17th Malaysia Festival of the Mind, which will showcase mind-challenging games, activities, competitions, talks, workshops and presentations.
