SOME 1,232 students from 24 programmes celebrated receiving their diplomas and certificates at the recent MSU College (MSUC) 25th convocation ceremony.
Comprising 767 diploma and 465 certificate level students, the event held at the MSU Main Campus in Shah Alam, Selangor, saw the Best Student Award presented to 10 recipients across three categories.
Meanwhile, Priestly Ivan Noah Simon (Diploma in Management, MSUC Sabah) received the President Gold Award, while Joan Wee Phei Xuen (Diploma in Culinary Arts, MSUC Kota Baru) was honoured with the Mohd Shukri Yajid Award.
Eight Academic Awards were also presented to Nur Farishah Amanullah (Diploma in Management, MSUC Sungai Petani), Yasmin Zahirah Zulkepli (Diploma in Graphic Design, MSUC Kota Baru), Mohamad Hakim Malik (Diploma in Accounting, MSUC Kota Baru), Ju Ratna Isli Bali (Diploma in Teaching, MSUC Sarawak), Connie Ku Pei Wun (Diploma in Tourism Management, MSUC Seremban), Flora Tan Shi Mun (Diploma in Hotel Management, MSUC Penang), Muhammad Imran Mohd Zamberi (Certificate in Business Management, MSUC Shah Alam), and Sheikh Sameer Basmeih Mansur (Certificate in Digital Photography, MSUC Shah Alam).
Present at the ceremony were MSU and MSUC president Prof Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, who delivered the presidential address, and MSU vice-chancellor Prof Puan Sri Datuk Dr Junainah Abd Hamid.
