RISE Educator Award


Nomination deadline: March 31

> The RISE (Remarkable Impact in Student Education) Educator Award is open for nominations.

> Organised by Taylor’s College and its student engagement arm, The Risers, the award will see each Top Five Finalist taking home RM10,000 for making a difference in the nation’s education ecosystem to support students in attaining quality and equitable education across various communities.

> To nominate a teacher, submit a 100-word story describing his or her inspiring deeds that have impacted students in attaining quality and accessible education.

> The public can nominate the most inspiring story of teachers in national, private and international pre-, primary and secondary schools in the nation.

> Five finalists will be chosen from the entries and their stories will be posted on Taylor’s College and Taylor’s University social media platforms. The public will then vote for the winners.

> The teacher who garners the highest public votes will walk away with RM2,000 while the nominator will receive RM500.

> The RISE Educator of the Year winner, chosen by a panel of judges, will be awarded RM5,000 and the nominator will receive RM500.

> Winners of the RISE Educator Award will be announced in May to mark Teachers Day.
