Free Chinese herbs for discharged Covid-19 patients


THE Chinese Medicine Task Force of Malaysia (Covid-19) has teamed up with Golden Horses Health Sanctuary Chinese Medical Centre to provide free Chinese herbs for Covid-19 patients discharged from hospitals.

The task force is led by Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Chinese Medicine Department head Assoc Prof Dr Te Kian Keong.

He is also the varsity’s Centre for Research in Traditional Chinese Medicine (CRTCM) chairperson.

Discharged patients can arrange for a free online TCM consultation upon registering.

Chinese herbs will be given based on personal assessment and sent to patients via delivery services.

Each patient will receive eight packets of Chinese herbs amounting to a four-day supply.
