LAPTOPS will be given to B40 students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) to help them study online until they can return to campus.

A global smartphone company is providing Honor MagicBook notebooks to underprivileged students from the varsity.

This initiative will enable undergraduates to attend online lectures, access course materials, and work on assignments.

“Through this, Honor Malaysia aims to strengthen its mission by inventing an intelligent new world for UKM students to stay digitally connected at home while keeping up with their learning progress,” the company said in a statement.

UKM Student Union vice-president Tan Ray Ming said: “The notebooks will be of great assistance to our students at such an unprecedented time, as our curriculum is now online until the end of the year.”

Students will have to undergo an interview process before selection.
