A virtual goodbye

FOR the first time in the history of St. Michael’s Institution (SMI) Ipoh, a retirement ceremony for its teachers was a virtual affair.

Principal Sit Wai Yin, school administrators and teachers, Parent-Teacher Association, Old Michaelian Association (OMA) members, and Board of Governors representatives had ‘gathered’ online to say goodbye to veteran teacher and the school’s vocational and technical department head Bhajan Kaur Mohinder Singh.
