E-learning hub


GOOGLE in collaboration with the Education Ministry has launched Teach From Home, a distance learning resource hub catered for Malaysian teachers, in light of Covid-19 which has caused school closures worldwide.

Teach From Home is a central hub of education information, tips, training and tools to facilitate teaching from location.

It includes training materials on how to get started, best practices for conducting lessons with or without video call capability, tips on engagement and community building and a downloadable step-by-step Teach from Home Toolkit.

Built with cooperation and insights from the Education Ministry, the Teach from Home hub is available in Bahasa Melayu and English, with downloadable toolkits in 18 languages.

And, Google Meet video conferencing – which allows up to 250 people in a call together, record lessons and livestream – is free for schools and educational institutions until Sept 30.
