FORMER matriculation student Phan Yong Hong has accepted an offer to study biotechnology in Universiti Malaya (UM).

Phan who obtained a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.0, held a press conference earlier this week, saying that despite his excellent exam results and being called for interviews, he did not receive an offer for medicine at a public university.
