LIMKOKWING University London recently signed a collaboration agreement with Halal International Selangor and European Halal Development Agency.

This is to bring about business consultancy and human resource development for the halal market in both regions.

The Halal Entrepreneurs Centre is the first of its kind in the world.

The establishment of the Halal International Entrepreneurs Centre in the Limkokwing University’s UK campus is a giant leap for Malaysia’s national agenda and a global footprint in internationalising the halal brand for consumers worldwide who demand ethical, organic and safe products.

During the ceremony, Lim was also acknowledged for 40 years of tireless advocacy to incubate, build and promote Malaysian Halal Brands for the world market. Additionally, he was also recognised for his pioneering vision of the halal brand.

The collaboration between Limkokwing University and Halal International Selangor dates back decades from its inception. It includes the design of the institution’s logo, delivering annual training plans and Lim’s involvement on the advisory board.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Selangor Investment, Industry and Commerce committee chairman Datuk Teng Chang Khim, Invest Selangor CEO Datuk Hassan Idris, Halal International Selangor director Datuk Mahmud Abbas, European Halal Development Agency chairman Dr Adel Sabir, Limkokwing University senior vice president Datuk Aznil Raja Hisham and Limkokwing University London Academic Director Jake Morton.

The Halal International Entrepreneurs Centre is a conducive environment for meetings, seminars, training, and other business events. More than just a prestigious business address in the elite business district of London, it is a place where halal entrepreneurs can learn from the best and to be exposed to the international standards of world-class trade.
