SETIA Haruman Sdn Bhd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) and Asia Metropolitan University (AMU).

“We are more than just a developer because we want to create sustainable communities that take pride in the place that they work, live, study and play,” says Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd executive chairman Ahmad Khalif Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal.

By leveraging on the skillset of CUCMS, Setia Haruman is teaming up with this university by providing first aid, CPR and basic life support training to 100 Life Saver Volunteers.

These volunteers will come from private companies, government agencies, students and citizens of Cyberjaya. The training is provided at no cost to the volunteers.

Additionally, both CUCMS and Setia Haruman will collaborate in other programmes such as tree planting and community clean-up.

The partnership between AMU and Setia Haruman will enable the upskilling of its staff and related companies. Setia Haruman will link AMU with companies in Cyberjaya to fulfil talent requirements.

It is also working with Multimedia University and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Also present were CUCMS deputy president Prof Dr Abdul Latiff Mohamed and AMU Faculty of Business, Management & IT dean Assoc Prof Dr Anbalagan Krishnan.
