Thankful for fun English lessons

ALL my teachers have inspired me in many ways. Besides my parents, I believe that what I am now and in the future, pretty much depends on the teachers I have.

Besides parents, teachers are the ones who shape us to become better people.

I’ve looked up to all my teachers from the time I was in Year One, but my idol teacher will be Puan Noor Juliana Aman Shah.

She has been my class teacher for the past two years.

She is a very inspiring English teacher. She is often oozing with enthusiasm and that makes her lessons so much more fun.

I have been told that she includes elements of Higher Order Thinking skills (HOTS) into her teaching. She often poses interesting questions to make us think.

She brings in new topics and has all kinds of activities for us.

I enjoy making scrapbooks, writing essays and doing pamphlets in her class.

She’s one of the reasons why I love the language and work extra hard to get good grades.

Puan Juliana has so much passion for the language and has brought in theatre, drama and choral speaking. She was also responsible in forming the school choir.

It is obvious that she gives her best to ensure her students and our school excel in both academic and co-curricular events.

She put her heart and soul into our school theatre and drama events last year. It was difficult but she managed while juggling with school commitments and her family.

Her effort paid off as we managed to put up a splendid performance for the gala night.

She appreciates her students and I can feel it each time she thanks us. She has tears in her eyes – they are of course tears of joy.

She listens to my problems and is compassionate towards others too. I admire her because she is really a wonderful teacher.

This year will be the last year I will be in her class as I am already in Year Six.

I will definitely miss her laughter, encouraging words and her booming voice. She has been a great motivator.Thanks, Puan Juliana.
