1 SMK Jalan Tiga, Bangi, students distributing copies of the newspaper during the launch of their curriculum week. Each student get a copy and were given time to read the newspaper.2 Students performed a play that included poetry recitation in three different languages - Bahasa Malaysia, English and Arabic - for the launch of their “Chill...and Read” programme.

Using The Star as a reading tool, a secondary school had a rather unique way of launching and presenting its reading programme to its students.

EAGER students tried grabbing copies of The Star, as “vendors” on bicycles began distributing the newspaper as they rode into the school hall of SMK Jalan Tiga, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor.
