Smiles of approval: Students and teachers were full of praise for the pullout which has exciting puzzles and grammar activities to keep learners engaged.

RECALLING his financial struggles during his school days, Pertubuhan Amal Seri Sinar (Pass) founder and president Datuk Eadon Ching said that studying hard and smart are ways to change one’s fate.

“Teachers have many responsibilities that are important. They must not only teach students to excel in studies but to make sure they interact well with others,” he said during a ceremony at SMK Cheras Perdana, Selangor, where he presented a mock cheque worth RM10,000 for the sponsorship of The Star’s Newspaper-in-Education (NiE) and Step Up pullouts over a five-month period.
