The monkey swings in

1 Hard work: The Years Five and Six pupils all dressed in red to form the Chinese character “Ji” which means “Lucky”. 2 Fun activity: Pupils form the Chinese character “Hou” which means “Monkey” during their practice session.3 Waiting for instructions: Initially only those born in the year of the monkey were to take part but more pupils were needed to do the formation, so both Year Five and Six pupils were roped in.

Like the Lunar New Year year animal that’s smart, curious and enthusiastic, schoolchildren hope to use their knowledge, skills and creativity for a great year ahead.

IN the blink of an eye, another year has passed and it is time to usher in the Year of the Monkey.
