New VC for UPM


Prof Aini whose research has been in poultry diseases and the development of poultry vaccines, has been appointed vice-chancellor.

PROF Datin Paduka Dr Aini Ideris has been appointed Universiti Putra Malaysia vice-chancellor for a period of two years effective Jan 1 this year to Dec 31, 2017.

Prof Aini who is currently the university’s Corporate Strategies and Communications Office director, replaces Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Fauzi Ramlan whose term ended on Dec 31 last year.
