ON Wednesday, the country will celebrate Malaysia Day – the day Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak came together to form Malaysia.
It is a special occasion for many reasons, but more so because of the oneness we’ve embraced despite our differences. Many schools have in recent weeks held flag-waving events, recitations of patriotic poems, colouring contests and concerts to mark this historical day in the nation’s calendar.
