25,000 students exempted from repaying loans


Appreciating excellence: Kamalanathan says the exemption was given to students who obtained first class degrees.

AS of April 30, 25,277 students who obtained first class degrees were exempted from paying their loans with the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN).

Deputy Education Minister P. Kamalanathan said the exemption was given to students who met the requirements and filled up the necessary forms and documents required by the PTPTN.
