STRAIGHT A’s student Tan Ying Ru had to give up her childhood dream of becoming a doctor, but hopes to do well in another field of study – automotive systems.
“It would have cost some RM1mil for a seven-year course in medicine. It is too high and I don’t want to be a burden to my parents. I also have a younger sister who’s still in school.
