SOFT and fluffy white rice, friendly Beijingers, and toilet cubicles that are half the height of a standard toilet completed the China experience for a group of mass communication students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College.

Thirty-one of them, accompanied by lecturers Dr Yap Teng Teng and Chu Sook Peng, were in the capital of China in the middle of the winter for a short study tour.
