UNIVERSITI Putra Malaysia (UPM) vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Fauzi Ramlan (pic) was appointed the new president of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) during a conference at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore last week.

The appointment was made at the 140th ASAIHL board of directors meeting and is effective from January 2015 until December 2016.
