A race to remember

IT WAS a getaway like no other — set against a backdrop of the sun, clear waters, sandy beaches and breathtaking views of Tioman Island, students from nine private higher education institutions rushed to complete a series of challenges at the IPTS RUSH 2011 organised by HELP University.

The event, modeled after television’s The Amazing Race, saw participants enduring challenges from swimming to running, being buried in the sand, consuming a myriad of healthy, antioxidant-rich foods (although taste might have been out of the equation!), kayaking and even barefoot trekking.
