UNIVERSITI Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and multinational telecommunications company Nortel recently signed an agreement to put in place a new network solution that will increase the university’s network bandwidth and improve Internet connectivity at its main campus in Bangi.
UKM Centre for Information Technology director Prof Dr Othman A. Karim said: “Students and staff have an insatiable appetite for knowledge, and they are increasingly hungry users of bandwidth.
