BASF Petronas Chemicals Sdn Bhd is continuing its support for Star-NIE (Newspaper-in-Education) by sponsoring RM10,000 worth of newspapers to 10 primary schools for the fourth consecutive year.
In a simple ceremony held at the Kuantan district education office, the firm's corporate communications and human resources division senior executive Munatirah Yahaya presented a mock cheque for the purpose to The Star's staff correspondent for Pahang Simon Khoo.
