Ample places

THERE are still places available in international schools for both foreign and Malaysian students. Deputy Education Minister Datuk Noh Omar said the maximum capacity of the 37 schools was 23,905, while the present enrolment was 9,430 foreign and 2,976 Malaysian students.

“The quota for local students is 40% but presently, they make up only 24% of those enrolled,” he said at the 10th anniversary celebrations of Mutiara International Grammar School (MIGS) held recently.
