UNIVERSITIES must identify their strengths and build on them, as not all can be international research universities. Deputy vice-chancellor at the University of Sydney in Australia Prof John Hearn says that universities should focus on regional, national and local needs.
Prof Hearn is one of the international experts invited to the Globalising Higher Education Conference on Aug 18 and 19. He will speak on "Attaining and Maintaining World-Class University Standards."
