A SUGGESTION that the ringgit be depegged has been made by noted economist Prof Lim Chong Yah from Singapore's National Technological University (NTU).
He also warned about the possibility of an upcoming economic downturn as the US dollar continues to decrease in value due to America's increased borrowing.
