Discovering the world of biotechnology


REPRESENTATIVES from the local print and broadcast media were literally thrown into 'the thick of things' when they conducted laboratory experiments at a one-day biotechnology workshop. 

Jointly organised by Monash University Malaysia (MUM) and the Malaysian Biotechnology Information Centre (Mabic), the workshop aimed to give members of the media the chance to experience, at first hand, the wonders of biotechnology. The workshop covered both theoretical and practical aspects.
