New options in NZ

WITH the two countries sharing an emphasis on quality and the aspiration to become a higher education hub, it is timely that Malaysia and New Zealand are forging a closer partnership.

New Zealand Education Minister Trevor Mallard Mallard was in Malaysia this week with a delegation visiting countries in the region, including China, Vietnam and Thailand, to improve ties with educational institutions and attract more foreign students to New Zealand. His programme here included a courtesy call to Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Shafie Mohd Salleh.
