BELIEVE it or not, the one skill you may to hone if you plan to further your education in the Netherlands is cycling!
“If you are living in Holland, no matter if it's only for a few years, knowing how to ride a bike would be a very handy skill indeed. I studied at the Wageningen University and Research Centre in Wageningen, a very friendly city with lots of student activities. But the campus was spread out throughout the city and so I had to do a lot of cycling to get around,” says Carol Phua, a Malaysian who did her Masters of Science in Aquaculture.
