Parents-Teachers Day at SIT

PARENT-teacher meetings are not only for schoolchildren. Sepang Institute of Technology recently held a meeting for parents and teachers of pre-university students.

The “Parents-Teachers Day” was initiated by the Centre for Pre-University Studies as a platform for the sharing of ideas and suggestions among parents, lecturers and students of the Foundation Studies Programme.

The counselling session was well-received by parents, many from outstation. Parents and lecturers also discussed ways to improve the performance of students.

The dialogue session gave parents a better understanding of the rigours of the Pre University Programme and the commitment of the teaching staff to each student.

A briefing was also held to keep parents informed on the latest developments in the various programmes.
