INTI College Malaysia bagged four awards from the Education Ministry at the inaugural Private Education Night 2003.
Inti and Multimedia University (MMU) received the highest number of awards at the ceremony, aimed at recognising leading players in the private education industry.
Inti received awards for the highest enrolment of local students, highest enrolment of international students, outstanding overseas branch campuses, and a special award for overall excellence.
The college has a student population of 14,000 17% of whom are international students, representing more than 40 countries.
Apart from its five local campuses, Inti has made inroads overseas by establishing branch and associate colleges namely the Beijing Inti Management College in China, St Theresa Inti College in Bangkok, Inti College Indonesia, Inti College Hong Kong and International College of IT & Management in Hanoi, Vietnam.
In a press statement, Inti said the achievement was testimony to its vision, and desire to pursue the internationalisation of education. Inti College has been playing a pivotal role in equipping graduates with the desired global outlook that will prepare them to face the demands and challenges of globalisation.
