THE 34 teachers who attended the Star-NiE workshop at the recent Melta conference proved themselves as eager learners when more than 20 copies of A to Z of NiE were snapped up in five minutes. The books were sold at a special price of RM5 each instead of RM10.
The participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the two-hour session conducted by trainer Tung Soo Kee. Her warm and cheerful delivery won their hearts and she soon had them working hard discussing, cutting, pasting and racing to complete the activities. For most of them, the session was an eye-opener as they had never attended an NiE workshop before. The verdict: a thumbs-up for Tung and for Star-NiE.
