THE newly-formed English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC) is embarking on a major research project to gauge English teachers' proficiency in the language.
Head of ELTC's Research and Development, Documentation and Publication department Dr Chan Yue Weng said that in order to enhance the quality of English language teaching in Malaysia, it is necessary to find out where English teachers stand in terms of their language level.
