KUCHING: Higher sales and increased profit margin for its Malaysia operations have helped ceramic tiles manufacturer Kim Hin Industry Bhd to post strong earnings in the first six months of this year.
Kim Hin chalked up a net profit of RM19.7mil in first half year ended June 30, with Malaysia operations contributing RM15.7mil or some 80% to group earnings. The China and Australia operations chipped in RM3.3mil and RM675,000 in net profit respectively.
