Setting up of wound care unit to speed up healing

KOTA KINABALU: Patients with injuries such as wounds can look forward to faster recuperation once the wound/stoma care unit is set up in hospitals here.

Sabah Health Department director Dr Christina Rundi said although hospitals and clinics in the state had doctors and nurses to tend for minor or serious wounds, not all patients would get the amount of attention and effectiveness they expected.
