The “Gold in the Red” exhibition, from today till June 3, features nine of Nyein Chan Su’s latest works in 2014. The colour red is emphasised and his practice is strongly rooted in his Burmese identity and culture. Imperial Art: The Preview exhibition will be held from May 23 to 25 at Nanyang Siang Pau hall, 1, Jalan SS7/2, Petaling Jaya. It will feature replicas of some 30 well-known artworks, selected from more than 10 million pieces of centuries-old Chinese paintings and calligraphy works from the Beijing Imperial Palace Museum’s collection.
