Chief Minister calls him 'moving spirit' of Sibu town


SIBU: Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem describes the late Datuk Robert Lau Hoi Chew (pic) as the “moving spirit” of this town.

Speaking at the opening of a complex named after Lau, a former Sibu MP, in SMK Sacred Heart yesterday, Adenan said due to Lau’s effort, Sibu did not only experience great transformaton physically but that there was also tremendous development in its education sector.
