Four down, five more to go by 2015

Demolition of the five remaining blocks of Flat Pekeliling along Jalan Tun Razak is expected to take about two years before it is completed before the area is re-developed into a mixed development project called Taman Sari

THE remaining five blocks of Pekeliling Flats will be demolished by next year. The work is being done in stages and each block will take four months to be torn down.

According to Chang Cherng Demolition Specialist’s safety and health officer Dr C. Sivakumar the project was nearing its final phase as four blocks had already been demolished.
