SOME 60 homeless and poor individuals can look forward to free hearty meals sponsored by the Lions Club of Georgetown Mutiara District 308 B2 at the Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) in Halaman Ariffin, Penang.
Club president Kenny Yang said sponsoring the meals was part of the club’s Project Helping Hands to Relieve the Hunger. He said a memorandum of understanding was signed with KSK on Jan 7 to provide the meals for six months .
