KUANTAN: In an effort to make cleaning beaches faster and more efficient, Alam Flora Sdn Bhd together with Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (PPSPPA) launched a beach comber machine at Teluk Cempedak beach here recently.
The machine was said to be able to reduce manpower from the usual two hours per kilometre to an hour per eight kilometres.
