CONVENIENCE is key to the latest refurbishment of Giant Hypermarket in Section 13, Shah Alam.
The store is now more spacious with roomier walkways, offering a more conducive shopping environment.
GCH Retail (M) Sdn Bhd general manager of marketing Norine Erica Majaman said the supermarket chain was always looking at ways to enhance its customers’ shopping experience.
“We see more and more shoppers every year and it is time for an upgrade to better serve our customers.
“We pay great attention to the layout of the store to ensure that it is convenient for shoppers.
“There are also bigger and clearer signs and labels for products and prices.
“The most obvious is the new signs that separate the products according to price range. This will help our customers shop according to their budget,” said Majaman, adding that the company spent over RM3mil on the refurbishment.
She added the refurbishment has allowed the hypermarket to upgrade its level of cleanliness and ensure the freshness of its products.
“A new section dedicated to furniture has also been created. It offers more options than the space previously allocated before the refurbishment.
“There are also added services here such as a mobile phone prepaid reload service and Touch ‘n Go reload service,” she said.
Manajman added that four other Giant hypermarkets would undergo the refurbishment exercise.
They are the Giant Hypermarket in Senawang, Alor Setar, Kuantan and Kluang. All four will be ready by the end of this year.
