Ipoh International Starwalk 2013 is now open for registration at The Star’s Ipoh office, No 8-10, Lorong Chung Thye Phin from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. There is the 10km competition Malaysian category, 10km competition International category (for non-Malaysians) and 7km non-competition category. Registration fee is RM20 (Interna-tional), RM15 (Malaysian) for competition walkers and RM10 for non-competition walkers. Registration deadline for the competition category is May 17 while closing date for the non-competition category is May 31. The walk will be flagged off at Stadium Indera Mulia at 7am on June 16. Ipoh Parade will hold a beauty contest for mothers titled “Mom on Parade 2013” with prizes worth RM50,000 up for grabs. There is Category A (28 to 40 years old) or Category B (41 and above).
