Pre-decided polling date not for Malaysia

MIRI: The non-fixture of pre-destined election date remains the non-negotiable stance of the Barisan Nasional government.

SUPP president and Miri MP Datuk Seri Peter Chin stressed that the Barisan government would not compromise on this matter as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak must be allowed to hold on to the right to decide on the best time to call for dissolution of Parliament based on prevailing circumstances in the country.
