MPPP starts tagging illegal billboards

THE Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) has begun tagging illegal billboard advertisements to ensure that such structures are first approved by the council before they are erected.

Council workers stuck huge red stickers, measuring 0.9m by 1.8m, on four illegal billboards near the Free School Road roundabout yesterday to notify advertisers of the offence.
