GEORGE TOWN: The anti-hopping law which was passed by the State Legislative Assembly last year has been enforced as of Feb 15 this year after it was gazetted.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the law, which was aimed at preventing party-hopping among elected politicians, was now part of the State Constitution.
